Hampden Fields

Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Nearly 200 acres of land were secured under an Option Agreement. Subsequent collaboration with housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has led to the promotion of a major urban extension for 3,500 homes south-east of Aylesbury. Development will include new primary and secondary schools, GP surgery, major highway improvements, a Park and Ride facility, community centre, local shops, employment space and open green space for recreation and leisure.

Kestrel Place

Slough, Berkshire

Under a partnership arrangement agreed between a major housebuilder, a housing association and a local authority, 258 new homes have been built as part of a £42 million regeneration of the Britwell Estate, in Slough. In addition to the new market and affordable homes new retail business units have been created and further investment has been made in provision of accessible green spaces .

Kennett Garden Village
Cambridgeshire

Believed to be the largest 'community-led' development in the country, this project comprises 500 homes, primary school, GP surgery, retirement housing, care home, enterprise park and village centre. Kennett Community Land Trust will own and manage 60 of the affordable homes, along with open spaces and other community assets within the scheme. Construction is expected to commence in 2023

Kaleidoscope

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

By effecting a partnership agreement between a major national housebuilder and a local housing association, 408 apartments have been built in central Cambridge on land previously owned by Cambridge University Press. The arrangement delivered affordable homes for the housing association not only on this site, but on other sites owned by the housebuilder within the region.

West End Gardens

Haddenham, Cambridgeshire

A community-led development of 54 homes in Cambridgeshire, 19 of which are owned and managed by Haddenham Community Land Trust (CLT) as affordable homes for residents with strong local connections that are in housing need.

East City Point

Canning Town, London

A partnership between a major housebuilder, a housing association and a London authority created a £98 million regeneration project in East London delivering 649 mixed-tenure homes and a new £7.4 million purpose-built facility for the Keir Hardie Primary School. The project included a 10 storey landmark building 'The Atrium' that was shortlisted for a Housing Design award in 2016

Barton Road
Ely, Cambridgeshire

A small development of just 6 townhouses and 5 apartments but an important first project for local authority owned Palace Green Homes. Built on a former Council owned car park, in a very sensitive location just a stone’s throw from historic Ely Cathedral, this scheme set a new level for residential sales values in the city.

Hilton, Cambridgeshire

The very first project for Urbanagenda remains one that is close to our hearts. Land was secured in 2004 for a small development of just 9 houses in the centre of the beautiful Cambridgeshire village of Hilton. It still looks good to this day!

Abberley Woods

Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire

An underused office and local authority depot was secured for clients that went on to build 98 high quality residential units in beautifully landscaped grounds, in Great Shelford, close to Cambridge. The project is complete.

Kilkenny Avenue
 Ely, Cambridge

A neglected estate of 88 empty homes was acquired from the Ministry of Defense. The houses are in the process of refurbishment and will complete in 2023. Land was also identified within the estate  for additional new build housing and enabling works associated with the construction of a new hospital for Ely on adjoining land.

Elsenham
Essex

50 acres of agricultural land in Essex were identified as having potential for an extension to the village of Elsenham. The land was secured by an Urbanagenda client under a promotion agreement and is the subject of a current planning application for 350 homes.

Joseph Rank House
Harlow, Essex

Our housing association client acquired a redundant 12-storey 1960s office building and car park in central Harlow. Permission was obtained to re-purpose the block for 132 apartments, including 52 for affordable housing. The project has helped to stimulate the regeneration of Harlow town center, bringing live back to a previously neglected area.

Perne Road, Cambridge

A small development of 12 apartments and a ground floor food store in a prominent location in Central Cambridge. The store was pre-let to Co-op food group and the apartments were of great interest to investors

The Shade
Soham

A community-led development of 9 apartments and 4 houses, adjacent to Soham Primary School. 60% of the scheme was affordable accommodation, to be owned and managed by Soham Thrift Community Land Trust (CLT).

Manor Farm
Stretham, Cambridge

East Cambridgeshire's first community-led development was delivered with 50 homes in the first phase, 30% of which were for use affordable accommodation for Stretham and Wilburton Community Land Trust (CLT). Two further phases have since seen the development grow to over 100 units in total.

Modus
Ipswich, Suffolk

former 'brownfield' timber yard in Ipswich Dock regeneration area was secured off-market and planning permission was achieved for 377 residential units in 3 to 5 storey blocks, including live/work units and commercial floor space. The project is now complete.
